IMPACT

As TFC scales we are building toolkits and templates for projects we see as repeatable so that each team is learning from one another and not reinventing the wheel. One of those project types is running paid social media and digital - like we did in Montana and Kansas recently.

We need a shared toolkit to provide quality, consistency, efficiency, and expediency. The team on this project will be responsible for setting the standard that TFC will rely upon going forward.


PROJECT

This project will focus on gathering and sharing best practices for all future TFC team doing paid social media projects on campaigns. You'll talk to teams that have already completed projects for candidates, as well as explore the incremental tools and strategies at our disposal. Ultimately, you'll organize your insights into an intuitive, user-friendly playbook. Deliverables will include:

  • Guide and definitions - to get the campaign up to speed, explain how to share accounts and feel versed in the vernacular

  • Strategy, project plans and examples for different goals a campaign may have - fundraising, GOTV and persuasion

  • Best practices and benchmarks of what to expect from previous campaigns

  • Data analysis resources for measuring what’s happened if a campaign has already tried paid media and also for forecasting L,M,H plans for them and potential impact

  • Reporting templates - ingesting benchmarks and best practices for the campaign during the project and TFC afterwards

  • Any other resources that your team develops to arm campaigns for success.

This is your opportunity to equip future TFC teams with a powerful foundation for their own projects. By extension, your work will give future candidates the paid digital expertise they'll need to make informed decisions and pursue winning strategies.


The need

  • Team Lead - you’ve run paid digital for years on multiple channels

  • 2 Paid Media Specialists

    • at least 1 that is a paid FB guru and

    • 1 that knows other channels (GDN, Twitter, Instagram, etc.)

  • Visual or graphic designer - to help put together example paid media assets, design templates, etc.

TIME

5-7 hrs per week for 4 weeks starting next week
