Nine state attorney generals led the charge to rescind DACA.
Eight will be on the ballot in 2018.

The pressure mounted by these Republican AGs is a reminder of the power that's at stake in elections that are often overlooked and underfunded. That's why Tech for Campaigns is focused on supporting down-ballot progressive candidates.
TWO ANTI-DACA ATTORNEY GENERALS ARE ESPECIALLY VULNERABLE IN THEIR 2018 ELECTIONS.

ARKANSAS
Leslie Rutledge (R) became Attorney General of Arkansas after her Democratic predecessor reached his term limit. She won her general election with just 51.6% of the vote. She is up for reelection in 2018.

WEST VIRGINIA
Patrick Morrisey (R) unseated an incumbent Democratic with only 51.2% of the vote. Though his next AG election isn't until 2020, he's already announced his opposition to Democratic US Senator Joe Manchin in 2018.
SIX MORE ANTI-DACA AGS ARE UP FOR REELECTION IN 2018.
