Marketing Manager

The Marketing Manager will play a critical role on our Digital Campaign Services team, growing and engaging our audience and connecting volunteers, campaigns, and TFC resources to deliver world-class digital marketing – such as ads, email, websites, SMS, and more – that wins elections for Democrats and fights GOP extremism. In this part-time role, you’ll have the opportunity to use your marketing skills to make a real impact on electoral outcomes. You’ll help build, educate, and engage our deeply-committed volunteer audience by creating a marketing program and writing content to reach new and existing volunteers. Responsibilities

  • Create, implement, and optimize lifecycle journeys to increase volunteer engagement and ensure timely staffing of volunteers on well-matched projects
  • Write email content for newsletters, event invites, fundraising efforts, and new marketing campaigns
  • Optimize volunteer sign up and onboarding experience by developing and delivering valuable, engaging content to lead our volunteers through every step of the process
  • Help grow our volunteer base of highly-skilled digital experts through targeted organic marketing channels and proactively identify new opportunities
  • Manage reporting process and share timely information and best practices across our marketing efforts
  • Monitor, track, and analyze the performance of your marketing campaigns to constantly optimize messaging and targeting

Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of experience in email marketing or a related field
  • Proven understanding of lead nurture or lifecycle / relationship marketing 
  • Demonstrated expertise in marketing automation and CRM software, preferably Hubspot
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create engaging and persuasive content that resonates with diverse audiences.
  • Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to relentlessly prioritize, juggle multiple initiatives simultaneously, and switch tasks without dropping others
  • Highly self-motivated problem-solver with a strong sense of ownership and attention to detail
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and build relationships across different job functions
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data to drive actionable insights and optimizations. You measure and manage KPIs aggressively to align with TFC’s strategic objectives, focusing on the biggest drivers of value.
