Account Executive

We’re looking for an account exec who is looking to have an effect on hundreds of Democratic campaigns. The account executive will play an integral role in Tech for Campaigns by leading the pipeline development and sales of one of TFC’s products built for large campaigns.

The ideal candidate has experience successfully selling SaaS software within a transactional environment with relatively short close cycles (weeks to months). You will be selling a brand new product line in the organization with strong initial interest from early customers - this is your chance to scale a product from the ground up while making a real impact on electing Democrats in 2020. This technology will not only have a major impact on the 2020 elections but also on thousands of campaigns for many cycles to come.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and execute a strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base

  • Lead the full sales cycle, from initial interest to deal close and coordinate collaboration cross-functionally with Product and Customer Success.

  • Source, qualify and activate leads among Democratic political organizations like Congressional campaigns, national committees, and PACs

  • Present, promote and sell products/services to existing and prospective customers, delivering agreed upon sales targets and outcomes on schedule

  • Identify product improvements or new features, remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors.

  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships, including remaining in frequent contact with clients to understand their needs

  • Negotiate agreements and keep records of sales data

Who You Are

  • You have 4+ years of quota-carrying sales experience at a technology company with a minimum of 4 years of closing experience

  • You are passionate about TFC’s mission - electing Democrats and belief in technology and digital playing a major role in elections

  • You execute with excellence and have a deep track record of creating significant revenue impact

  • You are a resourceful and creative problem solver when discovering the business needs of your customer

  • You have excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills

  • You’re highly organized with strong time management skills

  • Bonus: experience selling into the Democratic campaign ecosystem or working on Democratic campaigns


This is a full-time and compensated role based in San Francisco. We're also open to a remote position with the right fit.
